Tomorrow, March the 8th, is the anniversary of Hachiko's death, which occured in 1935.
This lovely dog used to wait for its master to come back home from work everyday, at the train station. But one day, its owner died of a heart attack while he was away for work, therefore he never came back. Hachiko has waited for him for 10 years more, dying at the age of 12.
Famous true story in Japan, with many statues to remember the lovely and faithful dog.
In 2009, a heart-breaking movie was released, telling this beautiful story.

What a couple. Ups and downs. Lots of ups in the beginning, lots of downs in the end.

Speaking of movies, can't wait for May 2013. "Great Gatsby" will be in theatres! Patience...

Yesterday I watched this movie. Lovely, Pattinson's definitely a better in those costume movies than in those with sparkling creatures.

The movie is inspired by Guy de Maupassant's novel "Bel Ami", which is supposed to be a celebration of women's power back in the days when they had none, taking action in the shade, as counselors and supporters of powerful men. It says, never underestimate women's favour.

Even though, in the movie, I saw no big "celebration" at all, often seemed to celebrate more women's foolishness when they lose their mind for a young lover, rather than their wisdom. Bah. Anyway, Uma Thurman's character is the best!
March. Women's month.
